Star Fox designer says he's a fan of the remake's art style

Takaya Imamura, Star Fox co-creator and former Star Fox 64 art director, backed the remake’s more realistic character designs.

He said the new look matches the visual style he originally had in mind for Star Fox 64.

Imamura is not involved in the remake, but his comments may ease fan criticism ahead of launch.

The Star Fox 64 remake is set to release on June 25 for Nintendo Switch 2.
