Runway Media Router Debuts, Automatically Selecting AI Models for Image, Video, and Audio Generation Based on Conditions

Runway launched Media Router in Runway Dev on July 23, 2026.

The feature automatically sends each request to the best image, video, or audio model based on priorities like quality, speed, and cost.

It also supports filtering by model or provider and can access Runway’s own models as well as third-party options.

The goal is to reduce manual model switching and make multi-model content production faster and easier.
