Emmi joins Mistral to accelerate the AI-native industry

Mistral AI has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Emmi AI, an Austrian Physics AI startup.

Emmi’s researchers and engineers will join Mistral in May, bringing expertise in large engineering models, simulation, and digital twins.

The acquisition will strengthen Mistral’s Science and Applied AI teams and expand its industrial AI capabilities.

It could help manufacturers accelerate design, simulation, and R&D with more physics-aware AI tools.
