Baekjoon Online Judge (BOJ), 16 years old, is closing

BOJ, the long-running Korean online judge, will shut down on April 28 after 16 years of service.

The site said problem data, submission history, and contest records will be preserved, while some other data may be deleted and features may be limited before closure.

BOJ has been a cornerstone for Korean developers’ algorithm practice and coding-test prep, so its shutdown is drawing broad attention.

The closure also highlights how AI coding tools are changing developer education and the role of traditional problem-solving workflows.
