Apple Says iOS 26.5 Adds Three New Features to Your iPhone

Apple’s iOS 26.5 update will add end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging for supported carriers, improving privacy for Android-iPhone chats.

Apple Maps will gain a new Suggested Places section, with ads expected to roll out in the U.S. and Canada.

The update also includes a downloadable Pride Luminance wallpaper for iPhone users.

After beta testing and a release candidate build, iOS 26.5 is expected to ship next week.
