China Telecom Launches Token Subscription Plans from $1.4/Month, Entering the Token Economy

China Telecom launched trial commercial token subscription plans for developers, SMEs, households, and individual users.

The plans bundle China Telecom’s own models and third-party models into monthly token packages priced from 9.9 CNY to 299.9 CNY.

The move turns AI compute into a subscription business and could lower the cost of accessing large language models.

Shanghai Telecom and China Mobile are also expanding token and model-aggregation offerings.
