Nintendo has released a new overview trailer for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, introducing Yoshi’s new Tail Flick move.

The ability is a first for the Yoshi series and adds a fresh gameplay mechanic ahead of launch.

The trailer also confirms Amiibo support, with Amiibo unlocking fortunes and tokens used to uncover discoveries in-game.

These additions give the Switch 2 first-party platformer extra appeal as it heads toward release.
