Samsung Issues ‘Critical’ Update As Free Galaxy Upgrade Goes Live

Samsung has pushed a critical Galaxy security update that fixes two critical flaws and other high-severity issues.

One Android vulnerability, flagged by Google, could be exploited remotely without any user interaction.

The patch is meant to reduce the risk of device compromise through attacks that require no action from owners.

At the same time, Samsung is preparing the delayed One UI 8.5 rollout for select Galaxy devices and has started internal One UI 9 testing.
