Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Switch 2 Edition's File Size Raises the Bar for Upgrades

Nintendo lists Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s Switch 2 Edition at 45.8 GB, up from 13.2 GB on the original Switch.

That makes it one of the largest file size jumps seen so far for a Switch 2 upgrade.

The increase is even bigger than Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s Switch 2 Edition size change.

The unusually large download suggests more than a simple resolution or performance patch.
