YouTube is testing Ask YouTube, a conversational AI search feature that returns relevant videos, Shorts, and summaries.

Users can refine results with follow-up questions, making video discovery more interactive and answer-like.

YouTube is also adding Gemini Omni to Create and Shorts Remix for generative editing tools.

Early access is available to U.S. YouTube Premium users through YouTube Labs.
