Multitasking ‘Bubbles’ now live in Android 17 Beta 3 update

Android 17 Beta 3 includes the redesigned Bubbles feature, bubbles are integrated in the Android 17 Beta 3 release.

Apps can use Bubbles beyond Messenger any app can be opened in a floating bubble window.

User action turns an app into a bubble by long-pressing and tapping the new icon long-press an app and tap the minimize-like icon to create a bubble.

Bubbles open as picture-in-picture windows for Messages and other apps tapping a bubble opens a floating window for quick access.

Foldable devices benefit from the Bubbles multitasking platform feature bridges multitasking gaps on devices like the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
