‘Codex’ Can Be Operated from the ChatGPT Mobile App

Users can now monitor progress, approve next steps, and send new instructions from iOS or Android.

The coding agent runs on connected computers or remote environments while users keep oversight from their phones.

The feature is rolling out as a preview across all plans, with macOS supported and Windows mobile connection support planned.
