XRP Ledger to Hold Validator Vote on Adding 5 New Features

XRP Ledger validators have started voting on five features slated for xrpld 3.3.0.

The proposed additions include Confidential MPT, batch transactions, delegated authority, sponsored fees and reserves, and Dynamic MPT.

Two of the features had previously been dropped over security concerns.

For adoption, more than 80% of validators must support the changes for two consecutive weeks.

The vote could shape XRP Ledger’s support for tokenized assets, cross-border payments, trading, collateral, and settlement.
