NASA Astronaut Reveals Terrifying Medical Incident That Caused Evacuation from Space Station

NASA carried out the first medical evacuation from the International Space Station after an astronaut fell ill.

Four astronauts splashed down in a SpaceX Crew Dragon on January 15 and were airlifted to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Mike Fincke said he suddenly lost the ability to speak for about 20 minutes while having dinner, prompting the evacuation.

Doctors have ruled out choking and a heart attack, and post-flight tests have not identified a definitive cause.
