Why is FamilyMart switching to Seven Bank ATMs?

FamilyMart has started replacing store ATMs with Seven Bank units, rebranded as “FamiMa ATM,” at select locations from June 1.

The new machines keep most existing functions and add cash top-ups for major QR payment services and nanaco.

FamiPay top-ups are not supported yet.

FamilyMart plans to roll out about 16,000 of the ATMs over four years, mainly across Japan outside Okinawa, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima for now.
