Qingyang in Gansu Grows Digital Wheat Fields on the Loess Plateau: Computing Power Gravity Field Reaches 185,000P, Carrying 25% of National Independent Model AI Token Demand

Qingyang in Gansu has turned former Loess Plateau farmland into a major data center cluster, emerging as a key AI computing hub in western China.

The Zhihui Blueprint phase one at the East-Data-West-Computing park will add 108,000P by Oct. 30 and was already fully booked ahead of schedule.

The city is attracting firms with cheap green power, prefabricated construction, low-latency network links, and a growing AI computing ecosystem.

Qingyang’s total computing power has topped 185,000P, with intelligent computing accounting for over 99%, and it is said to handle more than 25% of domestic independent-model AI token demand.
