Boston Dynamics showed Atlas lifting and carrying a small refrigerator with full-body coordination in a new demo video.

The company said Atlas was trained with reinforcement learning and high-fidelity simulation to improve whole-body control.

The blog post also emphasized design choices for mass production, reliability, and easier maintenance.

The demo points to humanoid robots becoming more capable of handling messy, heavy real-world industrial tasks.
