Apple Sports app lands in Japan, with real-time updates on iPhone Lock Screen and Apple Watch

Apple expanded its free Apple Sports app to Japan and more than 90 other countries and regions.

The app now offers real-time scores, standings, player stats, and watch widgets on iPhone and Apple Watch.

It covers major leagues including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Premier League, and Serie A.

Apple also added dedicated features for tracking the FIFA World Cup 2026.
