AMD confirms Zen 7 Epyc "Florence" for 2028 and previews Zen 8 Epyc "Ravenna" for 2030

AMD said its Zen 7 server CPUs, codenamed Epyc Florence, are slated for 2028, with Zen 8 Epyc Ravenna previewed for 2030.

The company also outlined memory and AI support, including MRDIMM, LPDDR, and ACE AI Compute Extensions, to boost data center performance.

AMD’s broader roadmap includes new Helios racks and next-gen Instinct accelerators such as the MI455X, signaling a deeper push into AI infrastructure.
