SSL Breaks The Sound Barrier With Its Affordable SSL 1 Audio Interface

Solid State Logic has launched the SSL 1, an affordable two-channel USB audio interface for home and mobile recording.

It includes one mic input and one instrument input, supports up to 32-bit/192kHz conversion, and can run on bus power or external USB-C power.

The interface adds phantom power, a high-current headphone output, and SSL’s 4K analog processing for extra coloration.

The launch brings SSL’s pro-studio preamp sound and signature analog character to entry-level users at a lower price point.
