AMD Preps a Cheaper Ryzen 7 7700X3D CPU Below the 7800X3D, Keeping All 8 Cores and 96 MB of 3D V-Cache Intact

A leak suggests AMD is preparing the Ryzen 7 7700X3D, a cheaper AM5 Zen 4 gaming CPU.

The chip is said to have 8 cores, 16 threads, and 96 MB of total L3 cache with 3D V-Cache.

It may run at lower clocks than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and be priced around $299 to $349.

If real, it could expand AMD’s gaming lineup and increase pressure on Intel’s midrange CPUs.
