SKT implements a 'digital twin' of SK hynix semiconductor plant with NVIDIA Omniverse

SK Telecom is advancing a digital twin for SK hynix’s semiconductor fab using Nvidia’s 3D simulation platform Omniverse.

The collaboration was highlighted at GTC Taipei, underscoring the companies’ push into physical AI for manufacturing.

SK hynix completed a related technology validation last year, and SK Telecom plans to further automate and intelligentize manufacturing data.

The digital twin can help test process changes and equipment layouts in advance, improving efficiency and optimization.
