Chinese GPU maker sells out over 30,000 gaming GPUs within 48 hours despite lukewarm benchmarks — LX 7G100 proves hype trumps performance

Lisuan Tech says its LX 7G100 gaming GPU drew over 30,000 preorders in 48 hours, topping $14.55 million in sales at a $485 MSRP.

The card’s benchmark results were underwhelming, landing closer to an RTX 3060 than the RTX 4060-level performance the company had implied.

Even so, the limited 1,000-unit Founders Edition sold out, showing strong early demand for a domestic Chinese GPU option.

Lisuan Tech plans a second batch and will launch the LX Pro and LX Ultra on June 18.
