Anthropic says its most powerful AI cyber model is too dangerous to release publicly — so it built Project Glasswing

Anthropic launched Project Glasswing, pairing its unreleased Claude Mythos Preview frontier model with a coalition of tech and finance firms.

The coalition involves 12 technology and finance companies, including Amazon Web Services, Apple, Broadcom, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Google, JPMorganChase, the Linux Foundation, Microsoft, Nvidia and Palo Alto Networks.

Access to Claude Mythos Preview was extended to more than 40 additional organizations that build or maintain critical software.

Anthropic committed up to $100 million in usage credits for Claude Mythos Preview and made $4 million in direct donations to open-source security organizations.

The company says its annualized revenue run rate has surpassed $30 billion (up from about $9 billion at end of 2025), has over 1,000 customers spending more than $1 million annually, and announced a multi-gigawatt compute deal with Google and Broadcom.
