Price spike hits Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus a week after launch, but value proposition remains

Retailers are listing Intel's new Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs above their official MSRPs shortly after launch.

The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is $350 on Newegg, $50 above its $300 MSRP, while the 250K Plus and 250KF Plus also sell above launch prices.

Intel said it raised OEM CPU prices to offset rising input costs, and AMD has reportedly informed OEMs of planned increases.

Nova Lake CPUs are expected later this year and aim to compete with AMD's X3D lineup.
