Latest Google Home update speeds up Gemini, ‘Ask Home’ now works with voice commands

Google is rolling out a Google Home update that makes Gemini responses faster and reduces smart-home command latency.

Users can now use Ask Home features by voice, bringing AI search and home status tools into spoken interactions.

The update also adds Home Brief support on speakers and displays, plus better camera search using saved family and visitor info.

New thermostat controls include one-tap temperature override and improved support for third-party thermostats on iPhone.
