GamersNexus says Intel’s Core Ultra 7 270K Plus lands near the top in productivity tests, including Chromium compile, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, and Photoshop.

Gaming performance is also moving in Intel’s favor, narrowing the gap against AMD chips such as the Ryzen 9950X, 9950X3D, 9800X3D, and 7800X3D.

The main drawback is that the chip does not reach its advertised single-thread boost frequency.

It also uses the LGA 1851 platform, which is expected to be short-lived and may limit upgrade value.
