AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D Review - Even Faster - PC Perspective

AMD’s Ryzen 7 9850X3D is a small refresh of the 9800X3D, boosting max clock from 5.2 GHz to 5.6 GHz.

It keeps the same 8-core, 16-thread Zen 5 design and 96MB of 3D V-Cache.

Gaming benchmarks show only modest gains, with little reason for 9800X3D owners to upgrade.

AMD says memory speed has little impact on gaming performance, and Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K still trails in this class.
