Caller ID app Truecaller now wants to sell you an eSIM

Truecaller has launched a fully digital Travel eSIM service for international trips, available through its app and web.

Plans range from 1GB for 7 days to 20GB for 30 days, with launch-market coverage across 29 countries; India is excluded for now.

The product broadens Truecaller beyond caller ID and spam blocking, creating a new revenue stream alongside ads and subscriptions.

The move also puts Truecaller into a crowded eSIM market and renews privacy scrutiny as it handles more mobile connectivity data.
