Netflix delays Greta Gerwig’s ‘Narnia’ movie for big theatrical push in 2027

Netflix has delayed Greta Gerwig’s “Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew” from Thanksgiving 2026 to Feb. 12, 2027.

The film will get Imax previews starting Feb. 10, followed by streaming on April 2.

Netflix says the move supports a wider global theatrical release than originally planned.

The delay suggests Netflix is testing a more ambitious big-screen strategy for a major original title.
