iPhone 17 sales jump 900% week over week as 'iPhone price hikes' drive a surge in refurbished device sales, Back Market

Back Market Japan says iPhone sales on its Japan site surged after Apple raised iPhone prices.

From the 18th to the 20th, sales of iPhone 14 and later models rose 41.6% week on week.

iPhone 17 sales jumped 900%, while iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16 rose 450% and 156.25%, respectively.

The spike highlights growing demand for lower-cost, warrantied refurbished iPhones as new-device prices climb.
