TmaxTibero launches domestic DB integrated appliance 'TDA'…targeting replacement demand for Oracle ODA

TmaxTibero and Eslim Korea unveiled TDA, an integrated database appliance combining Tibero DBMS with server technology.

TDA uses a prevalidated configuration to simplify deployment and operations while aiming to improve OLTP and OLAP performance.

Its main targets are public-sector, finance, ERP, and MES customers seeking alternatives to Oracle ODA.

The launch offers a domestic alternative in an appliance market dominated by foreign vendors, with the goal of lowering cost and complexity.

It also highlights collaboration between Korean DBMS and server companies to strengthen the local infrastructure ecosystem.
