Claude Opus 4.6

Anthropic has released Claude Opus 4.6, boosting performance in coding, agentic tasks, code review, debugging, research, and everyday office work.

The update adds a beta 1M-token context window, new API controls, and product improvements in Claude Code, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Anthropic says the model delivers stronger results on benchmarks including Terminal-Bench 2.0, Humanity's Last Exam, GDPval-AA, and BrowseComp.

Pricing remains unchanged, positioning Claude as a more capable AI assistant for software development and knowledge work.
