Asus unveils the 320W ROG Strix Scar 18 with RTX 5090, but it’s the CPU that steals the show

Asus launched the 2026 ROG Strix Scar 18, a high-end gaming laptop built around an RTX 5090 and a more aggressively powered Intel Core Ultra 9 chip.

The system uses a 320W design with a 450W adapter and redesigned cooling to support heavier CPU and GPU performance.

It debuts the first 18-inch 4K 240Hz Mini LED display in a gaming laptop, aiming to set a new premium screen standard.

Other highlights include up to 128GB of RAM, 8TB of SSD storage, Thunderbolt 5, and Wi-Fi 7.
