Supermicro said it worked with Taiwanese authorities in a server smuggling probe that led to three arrests and the seizure of 50 servers.

The servers were suspected of being diverted to China after an apparent resale through an authorized channel.

The case adds to growing scrutiny of AI server shipments and export-control compliance across the hardware supply chain.

Supermicro said it will continue cooperating with authorities in Taiwan, the U.S., and other countries.
