AMD Ryzen AI 5 435G APU appears in early benchmarks — six-core Zen 5 chip goes head-to-head with the Ryzen 5 8600G for budget PC builders

Early Geekbench 6 results put AMD’s Ryzen AI 5 435G close to the Ryzen 5 8600G in desktop performance.

The six-core Zen 5 APU slightly beats the 8600G in single-core tests and nearly matches it in multi-core scores.

Its NPU performance is notably stronger, pointing to a bigger AI advantage than current budget APUs.

The chip is part of AMD’s upcoming Ryzen AI 400 desktop lineup, expected to reach retail in Q2.
