Team Group agrees to $1.1 million DRAM settlement in another false advertising lawsuit — claimed advertised memory speeds required BIOS tweaks and overclocking settings

Team Group agreed to a $1.1 million U.S. class-action settlement over alleged false advertising of DRAM speeds.

Plaintiffs said the company’s DDR3, DDR4, and DDR5 kits needed XMP or EXPO activation, plus other BIOS changes, to reach the advertised performance.

The settlement covers eligible U.S. consumers who bought the products between May 3, 2020, and April 8, 2026.

Claims must be filed by July 7, 2026.
