Resident Evil 2 surpasses RE5 as series' best-selling game

Capcom’s latest earnings report says Resident Evil 2 (2019) has reached 19.75 million units, overtaking Resident Evil 5’s 19.01 million to become the series’ top seller.

The result highlights the strong commercial appeal of Capcom’s modern Resident Evil remakes.

Capcom also reported continued sales strength across several other Resident Evil titles.
