Gemini Live is coming to your old Google Home devices

Google is extending Gemini Live to first-generation Nest Hub and Google Home Mini devices in the July 23, 2026 Gemini for Home update.

The rollout is limited to Google Home Premium subscribers.

The update adds a 15-minute conversational memory window to make voice interactions feel more natural and context-aware.

Google is also improving the Google Home app and Nest cameras, while adding support for Walmart onn cameras in the Gemini built-in program.
