Nintendo has announced a Star Fox Direct

Nintendo announced a 15-minute Star Fox Direct for 11pm UK time, prompting fresh speculation about a new game reveal.

The move follows reports from Nate the Hate and VGC that a new Star Fox project has been in development.

Nintendo has not confirmed a new title yet, but signs point to renewed activity around the long-dormant franchise.

If unveiled, it would be the first new Star Fox entry since 2016 and a major revival for Fox McCloud’s series.
