At Computex, Jensen Huang said Taiwan is the center of the AI revolution and that Nvidia expects to spend $150 billion a year there.

Nvidia’s plans rely on Taiwan’s advanced manufacturing and packaging ecosystem, led by TSMC, with the new Constellation hub to be built in Taipei.

The article says AMD and other firms are also deepening ties with Taiwanese suppliers such as ASE, SPIL and Wiwynn.

China remains both a major market and a supply-chain risk, underscoring how hard it is for the U.S. to pull AI chip production home.
