Sniper Elite studio Rebellion reveals Alien Deathstorm, an action horror FPS

Rebellion, developer of the Sniper Elite series and also known for Zombie Army Trilogy and Atomfall, has revealed Alien Deathstorm, a horror sci-fi action game.

The game is set in an off-world colony devastated by a storm; players must survive while fighting alien creatures.

The 'Deathstorm' is a seasonal, planet-wide atmospheric cataclysm that creates environmental hazards in addition to enemy threats.

Alien Deathstorm is scheduled for release in 2027 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Ben Fisher, the project's head of design, spoke about the game with the official Xbox Wire blog.
