Less work, equal pay: OpenAI lays out its vision for a world reshaped by superintelligence

OpenAI published a 12-page policy paper, "Industrial Policy for the Intelligence Age," outlining policies for managing superintelligence.

The paper proposes a Public Wealth Fund, higher taxes on top capital gains, and pilot programs for a 32-hour or four-day workweek at full pay.

It urges formal worker roles in AI deployment, automatic support triggers for labor disruption, expanded energy infrastructure for data centers, and R&D to prevent high-risk misuse.
