Seattle pizza-robotics startup Picnic has shut down and liquidated its assets after running out of money.

Picnic had raised more than $53 million and promoted a Pizza Station system, including a high-profile partnership with Domino's.

Despite the funding and deal, layoffs, CEO changes, and weak scaling pushed the company into insolvency.
