Elon Musk’s SpaceX completes debut test flight of Starship V3, its most powerful rocket

SpaceX launched the first Starship V3 test flight from Starbase after a previous scrub.

The Super Heavy booster lost several engines, but the rocket still completed ascent, payload deployment, and reentry.

Starship ended with a controlled splashdown in the Indian Ocean, marking its first in-space data for V3.

The mission helps validate major upgrades for higher launch rates, future Starlink missions, and lunar or deep-space use.
