ServiceNow moves beyond control tower to govern and kill enterprise AI

ServiceNow expanded its AI Control Tower at Knowledge 2026 to become a central layer for enterprise AI governance and security.

The update adds 30 integrations to discover AI across cloud platforms, enterprise apps, and IoT/OT devices, plus runtime observability via Traceloop.

New controls include risk frameworks for NIST and the EU AI Act, identity-based enforcement, and a kill switch for misbehaving agents.

ServiceNow also broadened AI cost tracking and ROI measurement, while a new security platform uses tech from Armis and Veza acquisitions.
