Development of the wireless communication hacking gadget “Flipper One” is underway, with support for hacking all IP communications including Wi-Fi and 5G, and the ability to run local AI — a device in a separate category from Flipper Zero

Flipper Devices is developing Flipper One, a separate device from Flipper Zero built on a Debian-based Linux OS.

The gadget is aimed at IP-network communication hacking, including Wi‑Fi 6E, 5G, Ethernet, and satellite links.

It also adds local AI support, modular hardware expansion, and community development tools through a new developer portal.

The move expands Flipper from short-range wireless testing into a more capable platform for broader networking experimentation, while raising security and open-hardware concerns.
