Gemini app for Mac adding 'Spark' agent and voice control this summer

Google previewed Gemini Spark for Mac, an AI agent that can work across Workspace and third-party services.

Later on macOS, Spark will also be able to use local files and desktop workflows, expanding Gemini beyond chat.

Google also showed a new voice mode that lets users speak naturally while Gemini uses screen context to turn speech into text and actions.

The update aims to make Gemini on Mac a more capable productivity tool for drafting, automation, and hands-free use.
