Update on the OpenAI Foundation

OpenAI says its newly resourced Foundation is now starting work after recapitalization.

It plans to deploy at least $1 billion over the next year for disease research, AI resilience, jobs, and community programs.

The first priority is life sciences, including AI for Alzheimer’s research, public health data, and faster work on high-mortality diseases.
