Google Home expands Gemini access globally as the Assistant replacement improves

Google is rolling out Gemini for Home in early access to 16 new countries and adding support for 7 more languages.

The upgrade brings lower latency, better device recognition, more precise smart home controls, and improved alarms and timers.

Google also added kid support for supervised accounts and real-time Nest Cam search for Google Home Premium users.

The broader rollout signals Google is steadily shaping Gemini for Home as the next-gen replacement for Google Assistant.
